United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Indus Silver

It's not so much the cost of the parts as they can be found on eBay, if you are patient, and at sensible prices. Wink The real problem is the wiring loom which really needs to be taken out of a "scrapped" vehicle in a breakers yard. You wont find any part numbers to order from your friendly main dealer.

Assuming you have achieved all of this there is one further obstacle to overcome. You need to find someone with a "Faultmate MSV-2" who, for a drink or two, can change the CCF (Car Configuration File) and switch on the necessary touch screen icons that will allow you to operate the RSE system. IT WONT HAPPEN AUTOMATICALLY when you connect up the RSE module etc. They must also have a multi vehicle FFRR software licence to use the Faultmate, now I have yet to hear of anyone having that and this is the main reason why I will not retrofit RSE into a FFRR even having done it in a D3. A dealer cannot do this for you, their systems do not allow for it. Rolling Eyes Or you buy your own Faultmate (see below)

So in summary:

Parts - maybe £300-£400 (second hand)
Wiring Loom - £50-£100 (Breakers Yard) + 3 hours min to strip it from the donor vehicle!
Faultmate MSV-2 Kit - £900 approx (New with single licence)

Is it still worth it? Well that's down to the individual and their budget Wink

Switzerland 2006 Range Rover Vogue Supercharged Java Black

thanks for your help.

So I think its easiert to fit the AUX-in from the 2007. Talking at the moment with wiggs about the possibility that it would work Very Happy He is a real genius! I do have to finde someone who has the faultmate here in switzerland. And in the worst case buying one for me. Will be cheaper than find all the parts.

And get a wiring loom is nearly impossible. I dont know any breakers yard here in switzerland who has range rovers.

Phil
