I have a 2003 Vogue without the touch screen sat nav and wanted to upgrade to a touch screen monitor, is it just a straight swap or is there alot of changing and wiring to be done, has anyone done this and is it worth it?

As of now, it cannot be done, so don't bother yourself looking! There was someone trying to do this last summer, but the cost was prohibitive and he didn't even finish the project! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

you can fit an aftermarket touch screen radio/nav unit ...lots of work mind and not for the faint hearted..

Have you upgraded to the MK4 nav yet? Personally I beleive this is a "must". 

Not actually done anything to the nav unit, I've jumped the gun and won the auction on eBay for it Bit daft without checking that it will work properly, would it fit and work at all?

The touch screen wont work at all as it uses fibre optic connectors.

Take a look at the MK4 upgrade...

hi wiggins, theres been a small flood of the touch screens on ebay in the last 2 weeks but they are all faulty and dont work, sold as untested.. they are down to £50.00,
Unless you can test yours i would be very careful when you resell it as they might get p ssed off, i have bought a couple from the same person both for under 50.00, for a project and on looking at them the boards are both damaged. what did you pay for it..Do you have writing or logos under the switches. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
