TDV6 Remapping

Hi,

Has anyone had any experience with RR diesel remapping - particularly for improved fuel consumption.

Was it worth the money - what MPG is achievable.

Ray

I had my TD6 remapped, there is a full post on it if you take a look under this section.

Worth it for sure. I average about 24-25mpg. Discovery 4 HSE

2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Nara Bronze

I had my old TD6 rempapped by DMS (225 BHP), although they provided a tuning box which stored both the original and the modded programs. Either could be downloaded at any time through the diagnostic port which was brilliant when the car had to go in for warranty or service work.

Performance wise, the difference was like night and day. Car could actually keep up with the day to day cut and thrust and had no noticable affect on mpg even with the extra performance. Im sure if I hadnt utilised the additional performance, MPG would have been better than before....but where's the fun in that Whistle

Not cheap but worth every penny IMO Thumbs Up '14.5 SDV8 Nara Bronze for sale

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

Just had mine done in Glasgow by Pentagon who franchise for supachips, they said it takes a couple of hundred miles for the re-map to bed in which sounds a little strange but there you go. Coming home I noticed the torque instantly and found my self rushing past the traffic up the mountains and generally driving much harder than normal yet my fuel average went up 1.5 mpg. To early for any figures to be accurate but yes there is definitely an improvement. Thumbs Up 2008 MY Supercharged
