Third Party Warranties

I intend to keep my RR for a while and so I thought it might be prudent to purchase a third party warranty. I was looking at www.warrantyworks.co.uk getting the Coverall policy as it looks like pretty good value. Has anyone any experience good or bad with this/these companies, I hear stories of claims being rejected on technicalities but it's the ones that have had bad experiences that, understandably, make the most noise. Are there any satisfied customers on here I wonder? Also does anyone know whats available from LR? Geoff

Well there's good and bad out there but essentially the very cheap ones are best steered clear of. Warranty is insurance by any other name and insurance companies have to make a profit.

As with any warranty it pays to have a friend at your chosen servicing place. A lot of the borderline claims get paid or refused on the basis of what the workshop report back to the warranty company.

To be honest, I don't care about not paying out on the silly stuff but I do make sure the wording is bullet proof where major components are concerned. Watch out for clauses like maximum claim limit or single claim limit. If an engine goes bang you need it 100% covered.
