United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover TDV8 Vogue SE Auto Stornoway Grey
Bet this won't happen again...

Pulled onto the M6 in Staffordshire the other day, I was behind another facelift FFRR, Stornoway Grey TDV8 Vogue.

Nothing odd about this, but then as we both got onto the motorway and off the slip road, there was a third facelift FFRR in the nearside lane, this one was Buckingham blue.

For about two or three minutes the M6 was following 3 FFRRs, one in each lane, side by side, matching speed. Needless to say I was in the outside lane and got bored at 55mph and hoofed off after that, only to be chased by the TDV8 for a while. Bet he'd be shocked that I was a wheezy old TD6!

Would have made a good picture from behind us though, all three abreast. THE INVENTOR OF THE TERM "FULL-FAT RANGE ROVER" :

Think that may have been me...
Was in a 3 way convoy of FFRRs for about 10 mins. I was in the Blue one.

Yep, ties in with the dates.
Going slow -and remember the dates - because I had a suspension fault!!
Nursing the car back home from Coventry on lowish suspension setting.
Turned out to be a duff O-ring in the reservoir connection leaking air constantly.
Car was only 6 weeks old.

Normally drive a lot faster too!
