SAS range rover

i went around to see a friend of mine today who works at the place were they build / kit out the police cars , as i was there he showed me what they had in for servicing its a facelift FFRR but no ordinary FFRR its an SAS armoured RR with all the kit on such as the ladders on the side and the big roof rack and all the armour on the bonnet and body. i even sat in it and had a play with all the buttons unfortunatly i couldnt take any pictures but i did notice a load of different sets of numberplates in the boot and i did notice that the armour work was done by british aerospace as there sticker was on the wing there was also a 110 the same spec next to it what a great day Very Happy i will never surrender to bling , mud and dirt all the way oh yeah . and pheasent blood in the back.

Jammy Dodger!

I used to work with an ex SAS chap, had been in the regiment for over 20 years, he told some VERY interesting stories..... THE INVENTOR OF THE TERM "FULL-FAT RANGE ROVER" :

Shame you no-longer work with him, I may have got some info on my Classic. I have a 93 3.9 classic that for the first 8 years of its life was in 22reg SAS.

I sometimes drop into the Workshops where the motorway Range Rovers are repaired. Our firearms dept have a nice armoured defender which looks awesome
