You need someone with a multi-vehicle unit and there aren't too many of those for the FFRR. You might struggle with this one.

If your car originally had BT then it doesn't make sense that it would need "turning on"? Especially if it worked OK in ur friends car. I don't think the modules need "activating to the car" or anything like that?

I have had a couple of occasions were the bluetooth setting has been switched off for some strange reason .Re - enabling it got the bluetooth working again ( unfortunatly i only have a licence for the D3 , D4 )
