you could spend approx £700/800 on ebay for a set of new wheels/tyres and then re-sell yours back on ebay for approx £300... ... - .- -.

What Scarey said.

I did this the last 2 times, updated my alloys, got new tyres, sold mine.

My 20" alloys and brand new Michellins cost me £125 per corner, TOTAL (after selling mine on eBay) Discovery 4 HSE

I didnt think about changing my wheels as well, how well do the tyres last ? and do you get any more road noise with cheaper tyres?

Who said anything about cheaper tyres?

The Michelin Diamaris tyres I have retail for £225 a corner, more than Pirelli Scorpions and Continentals.

They will all wear according to the way you drive your car, how well you keep pressures maintained etc. Discovery 4 HSE
