anyway Ive got my eye on some 20" 7 spoke oem from a 2008 tdv8?


will they fit straight on?

Im no expert but i would imagine that they would fit straight on , mine is an 03 TD6 WITH 20'S and they wernt fitted as standard!

BE CAREFUL!

They will fit on the hubs but you'll need new wheel nuts.

The nuts you have will fit but are too loose on the post MY06 wheels. You probably have black wheel nuts now, and you need silver ones.

I've seen a pic showing the two types side by side before somewhere, will hunt it out

LR Tech Bulletin in July 05 said

"Situation: Alloy wheel and wheel nuts have changed configuration on the 2006 Range Rover models to a style similar to that used on the LR3. The change means that compatibility of Range Rover alloy wheels and lug nuts is linked to model years.

The 2006MY Range Rover alloy wheels have a modified wheel nut seat with a tapered angle. The new wheels are installed using wheel nuts of the same type used on LR3 and also Range Rover Sport. These wheel nuts are not compatible with the wheels fitted to 2003-2005 MY Range Rover vehicles.

Action: Wheels and wheel nuts (KIT or standard equipment) used on 2003 2005 MY Range Rovers must not be used on 2006 MY vehicles. Locking wheel nut kits are now model year specific and must match the wheels being installed. Model Year 2006 locking wheel nut kits will be announced shortly."

hi all, was following this thread, i have the 22 overfinch tigers on my 04 FFRR and have the black nuts,got confused with the later wheels and nuts,do i have to swap to the taper nuts..

yep - I mean the locking wheel nut adaptor.

I've just re-read your first post. Are you sure the 7 Spoke TDV8 wheels are the ones that were supplied with that car or are they some pre 06 ones that they've fitted to it?

Easiest way to tell for sure is to get the seller to measure the diameter of the wheel bolt hole - post it up here and I'll measure one of my >MY06 bolts FFRR TD6 06MY. Cairns Blue, Blue Hide. LR 7 Spoke 20" Wheels, S/C Grill and Vents. Privacy Glass and Side Steps

The ones I've just bought have the holes, not the dimples. The seller sent the wheel nuts as well, but two of the four locking wheel nuts are missing.

Are these replaceable individually, or do I need a new set? 02 Vogue
