What is the best price on a hawkeye?

Hi all, after checking out all the options. Think I'm going to go for a hawkeye diagnostic . I know a lot of you are very technical, but not wishing to be too girlie I just want something that doesn't need a laptop and my pixels arn't up to steve mfrs device.don't really want to change settings but want something that will get me out of trouble if needs be!
Where's the best place to get one ? It looks like I will need a red adaptor for the l322 ,any words of wisdom?
Thanks in advance. Thumbs Up

I've borrowed a hawkeye recently great bit of kit

It's more aimed at stock features and code reading than changing car value setting such as alarm chirp etc it's more for maintenance purpose than programming if that makes sense

U can play with ride height etc

Ur quite right the red adapter is the best one as it does everything

Hi Cliffy, one of the many things that appeals is that you can change the language to French and we love our trips over there. I don't want to change settings just feel it's a great glove box/ large handbag item!

I've ordered the hawkeye and the red adaptor .my local indi garage is getting it for me . should be in for Saturday,
Maybe it will work like a good luck charm! Clive from bearmach was very helpful and I think it will be very handy to have.

You certainly may scarey, £324 Inc red adaptor , which I gather you need for all functions bar the engine. I know it's not the cheapest of the diagnostics available but given that I restored my I phone to original settings a couple of months ago by mistake ( boy that was a pain!) luckily had majority of my personal and business contacts stored elsewhere . I was just trying to back up the phone info . I felt a tool that needed real computer skills may not be a good choice.

I have one with both FFRR & D3 Codes on it that anyone can use if they pop over!

Never used it in anger on the FFRR (sold it Big Cry ) but on the D3, I have used it mainly for FBH & EPB maintenance & fault clearing. It does loads of other stuff too! Cool

Good bit of kit if you aren't into turing the lights purple or whatever... Thumbs Up Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
