I dunno what to do I pick up my 20" supercharged wheels on Friday after winning them off eBay

2 of the wheels need new Tyres but 2 have 4mm now the question is run what I have until march or get the 20's on now instead and flog my 19's on

What's best??

I have two sets of 20" wheels, OEM like you and a set of Stormers, just picking my Winter tyres today (again ebay) to use on one set and keep the other set for summer tyres...

If you can justify I think you should put winter tyres on the 19's and keep the others for summer....(Again ebay can be good for tyres..)

I think others may suggest the same..

Last year though I was doing response work and only had 20's and standard tyres, was amazed at how they coped...

Best car in the world Smile

Good luck... Wink

if i had the choice it would be the same, 19'' with winter tyres for the winter and the 20'' for the summer..

I know how you feel, I've got a set of 22" coming in a week and really want to put them on but reckon the hard weather is still to come!! Sad

I like yourself need to furnish with 2 new tyres so they for now will just sit in my parents garage probably as I have nowhere to keep stuff at the flat!!

Going to have to get a lockup somewhere for the 911 over the winter, might go source a cheap garage somewhere locally. all smug in my new plug!

Ideally = If you can afford the higher up front cost put the 20" away and buy new tyres in the spring when they will be cheaper. Then use the 19" during winter with Winter tyres if you can get some at sensible prices.

Alternatively = buy a set of new all season tyres (Pirelli, Goodyear etc) for the 20" using the money you get flogging the 19" wheels now....
