If so it would be a lot and a lot of work as the lock barrels would need changing for the start/stop button to be sorted.

TBH i see it as strange that its taken LR this long to get their flagship model this far for just the key, never mind the other bits, though they have brought themselves up a bit by the use of MOST in the 2005+ RR Smile

Interesting. I had an Audi with a flip key and I was glad to see the back of it when I got the Rangey. I'd only swap what I've got for keyless go, and that isn't available to me at all. Nothing else is worth the effort. I actually quite like the old BMW key Embarassed it brings back memories of my old 740 V8 - another fab car I wished I'd never sold.

Excuse the newbie, but I've got from this thread that at least the earlier L322s just had a normal (ie straight) key? Really?

By flip key, do you mean one that folds up into the fob? Like my P38 has? 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE
