I hadn't even thought I had a problem. Thought my rear blade was shot but turns out the arms goosed. New arm to be ordered and then fix the water problem.

The rear wiper arm catches all the crap thrown up from the rear wheels and with the arm being tucked up under the spoiler seldom gets and washing or maintenance, so it's a must for changing every now and then.

Can the rear wiper arm be replaced by just removing the rear spoiler ? How does the water pipe connect up ?

Mine is obviously blocked, I've stuck a needle in it and it worked a bit then just blocked up again.... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

The spoiler can be removed in minutes, but place an old towel on the roof to lay the spoiler on as the brake light cable is quite short.

You can then remove the nozzle to give it a proper clean Thumbs Up

LR will blast air through it to clear the crud out of the pipe then it will work again. I had this on my last FF, i could hear the pump trying to squirt the water but no water. A blast of compressed air and viola, worked like a charm.

They didn't charge me when i asked for it to be sorted.

I have just had mine in pieces and got 1 jet working well, but the second jet won’t clear.
I can’t get the wiper arm off to clear the second jet, any tips, is it just very tight on the spindle, or do I need a puller. ??

Mine was a blocked nrv which can be cleaned carefully and replaced then cleaned and adjusted the jets all good now
I use a decent screen wash which I think keeps the lines and jets
I've have a post on here with some photos I'll dig it out Thumbs Up

I had a blocked rear washer and took the one way valve (OWV) out as that was knackered. Put a new one on and no joy. I read all the threads about taking the rear washer apart etc but thought there must be an easier way.

So, at the OWV I pulled the hose off on the side feeding the washer. This leaves about 4 inches of hose leading into the unit. I then used a small syringe (like used for Calpol or kiddies medicine) and filled it with Oust descaler and fed that into the tube. I felt the pressure so knew then it was blocked but sucking and pushing with that fluid then freed the blockage. I kept adding more oust until it cleared the nozzles and left for 10 mins after which I flushed with hot water.

Now have a working washer and only had to put the cards back inplace Smile

Thought I would mention as a first step before stripping out Smile

Tim
