Think it might be LR compromise, as you may actually go off off road you need narrower tyres whereas on road the wider tyre is better both for grip and stance, I think the wider tyre is fitted to the ...

Stick with 285/40/22 which fill arches nicely or 275/ 40 22 on some cars 285/ 45/ 22 may affect speedo reading (unless recalibrated ) and again on some cars touch wheel arch Thumbs Up

285/ 45 / 22 are too tall the speedo will not be accurate unless you use an IID tool to recalibrate the speedo,

Others will be along shortly but I have found 285/40/22 to be the best size, its the correct rolling ratio to the original 18 or 19 inch wheels the car originally came with, so no speedo error, it fil ...

275/40/22 or 285/40/22 are best fit you dont need to make any changes
285/45/ 22 are to tall will rub on both front and rear arches unless you re-calibrate the height of car and also throws the com ...

In reply to your question would suggest using 285/40/22 or 275/40 22 tyres.
the 35 profile side wall is too short and you have to use very high tyre pressures to stop the tyre carcass moving on the r ...

Ok good suggest going for the 285 over the 275, as the 285 visually fills wheel arch better and gives the wheels a bit more protection the 275 look thin on such a big wheel in comparison Thumbs Up

Suggest Pirelli or Continental, however further suggest you look at 275/40/ 22 or 285/40/22
The 40 series tyres are closer to original tyre size and also protects your alloys from cracking if you hi ...

Looking at pics of tyres, that would straight away indicate worn suspension arms or a tracking issue and our vehicles are very sensitive when it comes to tracking, it is agreed that Hunter alignment s ...

Agree with the above especially 285.40.22 section tyres, they give more protection to your rims and actually look better than the 275.40 .22 profile, I've used both budget and branded Pirelli for norm ...
