| Oh, and the engine driven pump is lubricated by the oil you have lost, running it for any period of time can seize it, and they are expensive..!! |

| It does cost an arm and a leg when the pipes start to leak due to rust, rear subframe out and a lot of labour to change the pipes, it's happening in a lot of the older L405's and all will fail at some ... |

Those studs are connected to the main battery...
I don't think I'd connect anything to both batteries, you are in effect joining the batteries together.
