I do not got the brake pad sensor connected so I think the massage is connected to the Brake system varning light as if you look in the owners manual..

It turned out the suspension didnt like the car being on jackstands and as soon as i put the wheels back on and lowered the car on the ground the EAS starte ...

OT but i noticed in your signature that you started with a 2006 ff than a 2011, 2007 and now a 2003. How come? Usually its the other way around that you start with a older model working your way up. ...

Had the same problem. Turned out to be the controlpanel in the dash as you suggested!
