That’s interesting.

It must only be secured using a rivet on the later cars.

As far as I'm aware the brackets are obsolete and aren't available any more.

If it’s happening when the car is stationary then it’s not the transfer box that’s causing it.

Does the noise change if you put the car into neutral?

My guess is it’s an idler pulley or ...

Collected and fitted mine this morning. I fitted it in 30 seconds in the dealer car park.

Called the wife on the way home and she said the audio was now crystal clear.

The difference between max and min on the dipstick is normally around a litre. It should tell you in the handbook to be sure.

Hopefully fitting a new filter and setting the oil level again will see ...

You can't leave the rear ones off as the handbrake shoes and adjusters are mounted to them.

I thought it was odd removing the scuttle to change the battery but it saved him moving the ECU and wiring harness out of the way like I did when I changed the battery on ours.

I've not read anything about it going up £140.

As of 1st April, the 4.4 TDV8 is now £710 and the 5.0 is £735.

Our 4.4 was SORN so we taxed it on Sunday to start from yesterday so it was done ...
