Was the o ring sufficiently lubricated when fitted? If fitted dry it would cause distortion/damage when tightened.

Hmm, I changed mine today before I saw this thread. I didn’t lube the O-ring. ...

There’s a plastic clip that holds the ends of the lift cable. I had one end of the clip break off and the cable popped out so the window wouldn’t go up
