Hmmm. What year is yours - dealer never mentioned that to me at the service. I'll ask next time anyway.

When I bought mine in 2015 the media was covering the high rate of thefts.
I bought a Diskloc and hoped for the best. I heard about moving ports etc, but that was only at special request or something ...

Yes that really helps thanks. Certainly a case of RTFM for me.
Someone must have been set it that way at some point as I can't believe OFF would be default.

Every car I've owned up to now has turned the interior lights on when a door is opened.

Yet I can walk up to my 2015 L405 Autobiography and open a door and be greeted with a black cave.
Same thing ...
