2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black
Interior Upgrade kit from Powerful UK

Hello chaps,

Has anyone used one of these kits?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ED:GB:1123

I quite like the idea of Piano in my RR, but I'm wondering whether the fact that these are stick-on mouldings will mean that they will end up looking like, well, stick-on mouldings? Or are they in fact an excellent fit and you'd never know?

The other option of course is to collect together all the proper Piano parts but I think you're talking many, many times the cost to do that.

Value is good, cheap is not!!

Well according to his videos, the central dash facings replace the existing foundry ones. You unclip the old and clip in the new. The door button covers stick on over the existing trim so will be a little raised.

He offers the genuine LR ones for several hundred pounds, the cheaper kit does look pretty good through.

Personally I would like to change the foundry colour for the darker grey/black in the newer L322s. Tom

And that is exchanging your old parts (and they are out of stock).

I bought this very kit for my 2002 HSE - the black finish of the bit that houses the driver's side electric windows was peeling on my car and I thought this would be a cheap way of smartening things up. I am very pleased with the results. The pieces you get in the kit are stick on, using a combination of double side adhesive tape and some silicon "glue" that comes in a tube. They fit very well and look really smart in my humble opinion. The only bit I didn't use from the kit was the centre air vent because I wanted to leave that silver. I sold that bit on ebay - PowerfulUK saw my auction on ebay and contacted me asking for any photographs I had and I think some of them are now included on their ebay advert.
My very discerning wife was very impressed with the result. She hates tat and this kit clearly passed her exacting standards.
And in case anyone was wondering - no, I do not have any connection with PowerfulUK Thumbs Up

I have the door handle trims and window switch covers. I think they look great, v shiny, better than if it was to be painted. I'm just waiting to get other parts wrapped on either carbon fibre or gloss black. My piano gear knob and hand brake set it off.."it's just all about the money, money, money," Sad

I only want the bits that cover the window switches, I assume that they will fit my 2007 OK. So if anyone just want the door handle bits I'm happy to split the cost Very Happy Geoff

Sounds good then, thanks for that!

Someone mentioned wrapping - I thought of that too, I even have some shiny gloss vinyl, but I don't know how to do it!

Ill attempt to put up a photo later. I mentioned wrapping but for the extra few bob I'd defo get a profesisional to do it. It's like doing ur own window tints if it's any way not perfect it looks Censored ..I think wrapping is the way to go, cheaper, and not permanent, and looks great, with so many options..

I must say that for a lot of things like that, wrapping almost seems to be the "too good to be true" solution; which probably means it is, then!
