Hi,

I'm going on a land rover adventure day on Sunday in snowdonia. Anyone else going? Its a non destructive! Day of sightseeing on a few thousand acres of private land Smile

Is this an organised event Paul? If so, how did you get invited...

Its £50 for the day. You need to phone up and book now though as it was starting to get full!

Try it again? Seems to work for me.

If not just Google 'land rover experience snowdonia' and it comes up near the top...

I edited the URL. There was a full stop at the end....probably that.

Let me know if anyone books it?

Paul.

Well.....that was an experience!!

I think they lied when they said it was a fun adventure drive! If you haven't been off roading before, in my opinion, don't go for this drive!

Some bits were quite tricky. Deep water and very steep climbs and drops. The range rover was very capable, in fact it was the only range rover there and it didn't struggle too much with any obstacles, but I had the best ground clearance of any car there.

A couple of freelanders got damaged, but hats off to the chap in an evoque!! The underside was getting battered!

Paul.

Was thinking of taking my bobtail up in May Paul, as i would hate to scratch the FF... Good choice?

Definately. It was great to see what the ff is capable of, but worrying about damaging it, took the enjoyment out of the day a bit!

Luckily my car is OK, no damage knocks or bumps. When I go again, it will be in something I don't care about though.

Paul.
