A crow dive bombed me on the way to work and took out the wing mirror. The outer plastic surround(ring) disappeared off into the hedge. Are these available separately? .

No, really was a crow....

However, skipped off work at 4.30 today, headed home and parked up safely off the A30, about a mile from where "he" hit me. Started walking, scouring the hedgerows - its amazing what you find - lots of wing mirrors, fan belts, large bits of car, loads of rubbish, a dead deer.....

Eventually, after walking and dodging high speed traffic for 10 minutes, what do I find laying by the side of the road, undamaged, but my wing mirror ring. Talk about chuffed

So I crossed the road, through the hedge, and went for a tramp in the field next to the road. He wasn't very happy! Fitted outer ring back to FFRR and completed my journey.

Result!!  .
