Can I use this oil?

Hi Guys I still have 5/6 litres of Castrol Magnatec Diesel 10W - 40 It was recommended for my Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 Diesel.

Is it still suitable it says its part Synthetic? Mutt

So does TD6 need 0W 40 or 10W 40 .... I'm confused Embarassed

IIRC the castrol edge they reccomend is 5w40 in our climate.

Personally if you look there are re-badged tubes of the stuff sold as Quantom oil and it meets all the specs but is used by Merc and VAG as their main oil, but much cheaper Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

It doesn't read too clearly does it. It states 0w40 and then says meeting the temperature range of your climate. And 0w40 is not on their little graphic chart.......

I'm using Fully Synthetic 5w40.........

Trust it's clearer for the TDV8 ? 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
