Really? Because you have the bonnet open or because you're out of the vehicle? I'm always out and about in the tunnel. Had the whole family wandering around the car a couple of months ago. Laughing

They don't want you standing in between vehicles in the train in case of a sudden stop. Going around is ok but between bumpers is frowned upon. Fair enough really. They usually park you up so close you can't get between the bumpers anyway. 2012 5.0L S/C

I usually do mine on the EuroTunnel - I've been told off for having the bonnet open - something about heat & fire detection systems

So now I wait until the attendant has just left our carriage do it quickly & don't open the bonnet all the way.

I know I should just do it in the waiting lines before boarding but I always seem to forget until I am on the train
