renew water hose at engine rearside

Loosing permanent coolant fluid ~ 1L/3000km .....

No drops under the car or somewhere inside the engine compartment...Controlling every hose by hand, no wet hand...??!!

But finally on wednesday, drop drop drop under the car....every 2 seconds one drop near bellhousing...
Bonnet in service mode, wet fingers at the left hose at the upper backside of the engine... engine plastic cap off, the two 13er nuts off and pulling out the complete pollenfilter/air tray, climbing on the engine and there was a hole in the left water hose, the short one between engine and the water hose connector.
Taking away the retaining wire of the connector and seperating the connector, then loosen the hose clamp at the engine side and pulling off the defct hose from the engine. Some litres of coolant came off the engine.

Cutting away the old hose from the plastic connector and fitting a piece of new 22mm water hose with clamps between engine and connector. Then press both sides of the waterhose connector togehter and securing with the retaining clamp.

Refilling/bleeding the cooling system by running engine and heater....

... new hose with the two clamps
