TD6 EGR VALVE CLEANING.

Understood that egr valve has to be cleanned or changed after certain kms.Right now my car has something like 130000kms and i doubt if any egr cleaning has been ever done.
Has anyone cleanned the egr valve so to tell me how to do it or cleaning is not worthy so better to change it.
Removal/reinstallation of egr valve can be done by me/its easy or same has to be done by RR workshop?
