Mitsubishi Shogun

Got one as a hire car for a few days whilst FFRR is having the rear bumper repaired (17 yo numpty forgot to use his brakes and rear ended me Evil or Very Mad )

Anyway, the Shogun has the most incomprehensible rear seat layout. Rolling Eyes

There are two pairs of Isofix mounting points, but one is offset towards the middle so that when fitting two seats they foul against each other. Even worse is that one of the Isofix seats then ends up covering the seatbelt sockets, meaning that you cannot use Class II/III seats that require the seatbelt to hold the child in the (Isofix-restrained) seat.

The third row seats look like an afterthought and are only of use to anorexic leg amputees.

In short, what a POS this car is Banging Head Banging Head Banging Head

Paul.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Orkney Grey

I've found that with some other jap cars. Have to admit reliability & engineering is usually 1st class & they just keep going no matter how much abuse, but stupid stuff like seat belt fixings that can't be gotten to easy or switches you can't see when in the driving seat Rolling Eyes

Still at least it'll make you appreciate the RR more when you get it back Thumbs Up

I hired a new Shogun in Australia for a week or so a few years ago to drive the Gibb River Road in WA.

It was comfortable, quick, refined and handled very well. It was also spacious and my son liked the reclining rears seats.

But it didn't compare to my (at that time) V8 auto D1 that I ran out there.
