Phone pairing

My Samsung phone pairs to the fatty via bluetooth OK but every time I turn off the car or go out of range I'm having to re-enter the PIN to reconnect.
On my other Fatty it just pairs and reconnects without having re-enter the PIN every time.
Is there some setting I need to change as it gets tedious to the point where I don't bother which, of course, defeats the purpose.
Any ideas? 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

It is probably down to the firmware on the Bluetooth module, there are a few folks who can upgrade the firmware. One such is bluetoothexchange.co.uk

I had the same issue with mine, reflashing the BT module with my IID tool solved it.

Did you re-flash the firmware as suggested above. 2007 Vogue TDV8 in Zermatt Silver with Charcoal

I'm not sure if it actually upgraded the firmware, I just flashed it myself with my IID tool and a laptop and now it connects automatically and I think the phonebook shows too.

OK , got the phone issue sorted with an exchange module from Bluetooth Exchange.
Excellent service from them, worked first time and less than 5 mins to fit.
Got all my contacts loaded up and no more messing with pin numbers.
Jump in, turn on and it's paired. Thumbs Up It's the little things that make the day.
