L405 FIXED (?)

Hi,

The edited photos below show what would be the L405 according to most of the people posting here, starting by myself

Do you think this is actually better?

What could be changed to make it better?

I did not modify the rear lights'height, but they seem a bit high as they are, even more now that they are "square"

Anyway, start shooting!

Edited :

POST EDIT:
here's a new edit of the pic without the grills under the headlamps, this is even better!

Decrease the rake of the front end, change the fussy front bumper, level out the window/roofline (i.e. make the windows deeper at the rear), reduce the rake of the upper tailgate, make the rear spoiler less pronounced, perhaps keep a simple scallop on the front door, make the grille less flashy.

Trommel,

I am trying to "fix" the L405 if there is anything to fix, not to make a L322 out of a L405 Rolling with laughter l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

The doors look too long without the gills.

they both look good.

I don't mind the front lights as they are, but I do prefer your edited version for the back - much cleaner look.

The gills do still bother me - the front door panel looks so huge without something it's very bland and odd. The gills do break that up & add something, but it is a bit like back in the 80's when everyone put a non functioning spoiler on the boot of their car to make it look "better" !! Laughing Laughing
But, I've got no idea what would or could look better.

BUT, I just know it's going to grow on me too and will want one. Thumbs Up Laughing

This may explain why they fitted where they are.

However, I do not find the door to be too long. in fact, with these faux vents, the LWB version will have a short looking front door and a quite long rear door...

Maybe the LWB will have another kind of vent then. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

No no verydisco, please go on! Like your version better Thumbs Up The more I look at the pictures ( the original) the more I think it's toooo big (and no Rolo, not what you think Laughing ) It clearly wasn't designed for the European market...
Will age very quickly agree...
Will have to see it in flash but so far come October I will look for a 4.4.

Fix it ? Make a L322 out of it ?

Same thing to me.........

To be honest, it needs the gills on the side - somewhere, but I prefer your rear lights.

I am liking the idea of there being a contrasting roof.

Perhaps they'll do union jacks and chess boards like on the Mini !! 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Very Disco is actually becoming a celebrity: even the guys at Ovalnews are referring to your "redesign":

You might even get a job at JLR for the next facelift!
