Not in the UK, no. Summat about homologation, emissions etc. The 5.0 was not seen as a big enough seller in the UK market. Big Cry

Of course, if you had a word Mick...... Whistle

Yeah, so if I was buying new it'd be a D4. What with dogs, Tintent etc I could use the room. I looked at a South Africa spec D4 but by the time you're all done with taxes and import duty etc it costs more than a FFRR. Laughing

Not sure where else has the RHD variant in the EU though.....

I even called SVO about this. Still no. The bit I don't get is this though. If it's OK in S/C form for the FFRR and SSRR, why can't it be OK in naturally aspirated form in a D4?? Confused Christ, why can't SVO just put a D4 body on a RRS 5.0 S/C chassis for me? How hard can it be? Same damn car underneath the posh frock.

Still think a Cayenne is the order of the day. If I can't have what I really want then it might as well be cheap. I NEED a big 4x4 for the towing, shooting, dogs etc. I WANT a petrol engine, 'cos I hate that other greasy Censored . Too hard, brain hurts now. Big Cry

Yeah, that left hooker's been around for 6 months or more. Just about 10k overpriced for the UK, basically the cost of conversion to RHD. Not cheap.

As for the Merc Graham, I kinda did the whole MB thing and it just doesn't float the boat for me any more. Although, I do really miss my E55 AMG estate.

Meh, 10 grand on a porker. It'll do. Probably buy a weekend toy as well. Downside to that is, having done it before, the toy ends up stuck in the garage and never comes out.

Dom.
