Great iPhone 5 holder released

I have had a few holders for devices from this manufacturer in the past. I have always been very pleased with them.
This particular one would suit anyone with th LR iPod kit - lightning to dock connector cable and an iPhone 5.
I have no affiliation with this company or anyone who sells their products, just posting as a satisfied customer.
Once I find a supplier I am gonna order one.

Thumbs Up
Had it, loved it!

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

Just picked up MY12 4.4 TDV8. Overall very happy, but I'm really surprised that I cant stream music over Bluetooth !!

So I picked up the iPod to Lightning Cable http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MD824ZM/...dapter-02m £25 at the O2 shop rather than £35 at Apple.

http://www.fullfatrr.com/gallery/albums/us..._MD824.jpg

Works an absolute dream. Music quality is superb and is tested both on the iPhone 5C iPod, but also on Spotify. Track and playlists selection from the Steering Wheel and main display is great.

HOWEVER - No charging of the iPhone !!!

Is this normal ? Is perhaps my RR 30Pin iPod cable faulty ?

Can anybody confirm if charging ever works and if so should it also go through the Lightning Converter Cable or perhaps the 30pin to Lightning Converter Plug (no fly lead).

thx Bob

I believe the Iphone 5/&5c/5s all require a 5v feed to charge the phone which is more than the older iphones and iPod used. This may be your issue. I would think that as the original iphones with 30 pin didn't need such high voltage the vehicle manufacturers used a lower transformer somewhere in the wiring/acm box

It's actually less than the older devices used (they used 12V over the Firewire lines).

Newer ones use 5V over the USB lines.

I seem to recall there being an update lead available from LR to charge the later 30 pin devices (iPhone 4 and 4S)
