So there's no AUX socket in the base of the centre cubby facing the rear seats?

Yes there is an audio input so I can play it through this input but the module gives you a docking station which charges it and the steering wheel controls will change the tracks. When I picked the car up the salesman says that landrover have said that the module will be fully integrated with the screen and give track info as well which is far better than the one fitted to the RRS and disco. Its a vogue se by the way. |

Just been to the dealer this am and it seems that a module is available as of today. They have received an email from LR about it and will have one in stock tomorrow. Hopefully I might get it fitted next week, will update when I have more info. |

Was it sold to you as having one? Are they expected to charge you for having it fitted? |

I saw it in the accessory brochure and asked for one to be fitted. I was charged for it on the invoice but when the dealer ordered the item code that was shown it turns out that the unit was the freelander one. They offered me the money back on it but in the meantime i saw that LR were now showing it on their website. On further investigation the unit became available this week, in fact I have seen it today and it will be fitted next Monday. lt seems to integrate with the touch screen, not like the disco/RRS, and gives you an MP3 icon but I didn't have time to read the booklet properly but will find out more when its fitted. It doesn't have a docking station just a cable to connect to an ipod or other MP3 devices and seems to be fitted in the glovebox. Will post more after its fitted. |

Well its been fitted. There is a switch to select either CD or MP3 player. When i connect an ipod CD icons 1-5 become the first 5 playlists on the ipod and CD6 is the whole music content. Titles and artist are displayed and the steering wheel controls control the tracks. Sorry i didn't get the part number |

Thanks, min is an 06my so I'll just have to ask if the hi-fi module is the same. mind you I did fit a Denison unit to SHMBO's Mini and it worked the same way so they might be the same radio module |
