Range of a range 2007 3.6 TDV8

Morning,

When you've filled up how many miles does the display tell you it's capable of?
I know mpg is more important I just need to know how many miles a 3.6 could do.

Badly worded but I'm not well today Big Cry anddddd man up Cool

I think some have had it max out at 510 or maybe 610.

It depends on so many variables tbh its hard to say what yours could be and its state of tune, service history, and general engine and gbox health... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Great, thanks - my cobbled together excel spreadsheets are showing roughly that, based on a 23mpg with a cost to fill up of £147 (139.9p a litre filling a 106 litre tank).

Wonderful, hopefully later ill be posting to say i've done a deal on one. Been up all night making my decision!

You'll be lucky to get 106 litres in the tank.

I've ran mine right down showing 0 range and needle on the bottom for a few miles and only got 98 something litres in... a self preservation reserve i think its called to keep fluid in the pumps and stop them getting damaged from overheating and the fuel lines will hold a few litres as well... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Most I have managed to date is just over 660 miles on a tank. When I filled back up it swallowed 97 litres before declaring itself full. This was all cruising on the motorway.

Right ok so the 106 is just the capacity not useable. Thats ok, im just working out how many times i'd be filling up a month based on 34 mile round trip each week day.

Mistyped the post code in its only 26 miles and is A and B roads. So i guess 2-3 times is right really. Mind you if i based filling up on 106 litres not 98 ive stitched myself up out of £14 there ha ha. Massive difference!

If you had an SC you'd be getting on first name terms with your local garage!

Just remember to use the plastic gloves and stop a bit shorter of the pump and that way you avoid the normal 'spill zone' and don't slip everywhere in your shoes after.

Or just don't go to the petrol/highway robber stations i find easier Very Happy fill up when and how i want Wink FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
