S/C Exhausts for the FFRR

hi all, just got my S/C rear exhausts for my FFRR, they are full trims not them silly fake trims, the chap accross the road has, will try to fit them at the week end, weather permitting... you have to cut your old tail pipes off just from your back box just as they start to bend and thes fit over your exsisting pip, clamp or spot weld.

they arement to look the same as the S/C but with a rolled lip

Do the pipes have a bigger bore then the standard S/C pipes?

hi, i dont think so, 3" bore polished stainless stell, the S/C has not got the rolled lip at the end but i wanted that, i think it finishes them off.

nearest place I would recommend for you is the

Topgear centre
Fife Auto Centre,
3 Blackwood Road,
Eastfield,
Glenrothes,
Scotland
KY7 4NP
01592 631211

in Glenrothes, as for Steve, he will do a 4.4 V8 system cat back built on the car with oval or your choice of rear box finishing pipes for £499 inc.

I got mine Just over £420 from Kent down south and shipped it north, guy had got the cats special order made @ £1000,system almost £1700 worth as has fast-flow front boxes in it as well!,

so I have spent another £140 on full set of new lamba probes to speed up the fitting, use all standard mounting points and rubbers!..s

can wait, this gives almost extra 55BHP on the M62 with the cats, originals are approx classed as 600 cell, new ones are 200 cell ceramic's, so basiclly straight through for far better engine breathing.

Robbo I hope you'll be providing a video/sound clip of that fitted!

There's a place near here in Stockport that does one and it sounds really aggresive! You here the V8 roar!

Be interested to see if it drones any or how it affects cockpit noise?

Hi,

Got the exhaust finally fitted today with new lambda probes, I am well impressed, lovely deep rumble, and super fast revving now, how the old one constricted the engine!

Will have to find a place to upload a video and get it on here for you guys,

Only thing I may do later is get the outputs changed to 5" ovals as I think this would look better, but may be the four ports will grow on me, either way sounds and takes off unbelievably compared to before!!!!

Drone wise, yes you obviously can here it but unless you're full pedal down its not really that noticable, up hill you do notice as the note changes for under load, but that just make me smile even more!!!

just love it, recommend to all
