Rear Wiper Hitting Something

Over the past couple of days, the rear wiper has started hitting something as it swings back to it's parking position at the top. Can't see anything obvious. I guess it may have shifted on it's splines. Any ideas? Is it an easy fix?

Stop the wiper arm in it's mid position (switch the ignition off as it is operating) lift up the wiper arm and lubricate the pivot, where it bends when you lift it up, Mine did the same and it was hitting the rear spoiler as it parked (the ice and snow had raised it slightly )
Hope this helps

Mine was doing this - the hinge bit needed scraping off and a bit of WD40 as the spring wasnt holding it against the screen strongly enough.

It is a persistant problem only really sorted by a new rear wiper arm, but yes I guess in excess of 2 years he may well be onto another vehicle by now. May be useful for other people if nothing else LOL.

My 53 plate vogue has just started doing this so WD40 it is then. May be an old post but still very useful.
We should collect all these known issues in one sticky as an FAQ on L322 ownership. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
