Winter wheels fitted to the supercharged with mtr tyres

Had these put on the range rover today, they seem tiny compared to the 22" but must admit the ride is better, should do me over the winter, what are peoples views on them and on the goodyear mtr tyre? Thanks

very chunky and some what spoils the slick look of the s/c, but if it gets you through the winter snow then it doesnt matter what it looks like....... Thumbs Up ... - .- -.

The ride quality is improved but they seem quite 'noisy' on the tarmac.

Ive used MTRs on mine for the last 4 years as my only tyres yes you do get a bit of noise but make sure you get your tracking and ballencing checked every 3 months and they do quieten down a tad but overall a very good tyre and long lasting as mine have 50 k on them and they are still good so they work out cheaper Thumbs Up onto no6 Range Rover

Shocked That looks like an off road tyre. I am not surprised they are noisy on the road. You'll have the last laugh if it snows tho'... Thumbs Up Previously..

Not sure mud terrains will be be much good as a winter tyre unless you only drive through deep snow.

Does look miles better than it would with 22"s though.

Raymond (RRG) used the MTRs for his trip London to Cape Town so they must be quite sturdy tyres. I believe they had some cold weather in Turkey but the rest was pretty warmish I believe. Still seems a good choice for a winter tyre. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

There currently 'on trial' from rst land rover in mersea near colchester, there were around £800 for the set of 4 alloys with tyres if anyone is interested, the tyres are practically brand new.

Mud terrains will not be good winter tyres. I'd wager they'll be noticeably worse than standard M+S-marked ones on anything but fresh snow.

Like them or loath them, those tyres look quite correct on a Range Rover & can utilise every ounce of the clever 4wheel drive systems that the car was built for. I personally cannot see the point of 22inch wheels, yuk.

The Goodyear MT/R is classed by Goodyear as "All Season Tire"
The description on their web site is:
Good control and grip in most weather conditions, including light winter weather
