You need a new non return valve, I have had to replace them in the L322s I've had. About £3 from any good motorists shop.

My manual states to hold the lever forward for the required duration of the wash.

Is the nrv under the upper trim. I had it off the other week, could have changed mine then..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mine is immediate, the pump only works on one stroke of the wiper...
