Engine light and judder

Hi guys, any help would be appreciated. I just drove 220 miles yesterday in my 07 3.6tdv8 fine no problems. Today I go for a short drive and the engine light is on the car for the next 10 mins is very judder dry at low speeds I put my foot down and was still judderey. It seemed ok ish after 10 mins light is still on. Don't have access to a fault reader as I am at my folks I need to drive another 200 miles on Christmas Day any ideas? I am going to take it out again just now to see what happens. Thanks in advance

Ok
Does the car move up in speed slowly without the shudder.
If so what does it do if you floor it from standing start.

Make sure its warm before you try the floor it bit. 2020 Porsche Panamera Turbo Hybrid (V FAST)

Thanks guys - yep if I accelerate slowly from still or any speed it seems fine maybe slightly judderey. From standing start flooring it judders a fair bit but has spells where it is smooth ish. Essentially though light acceleration much less judder

sounds like a fuel starvation problem due to blocked injectors or pump maybe....cheapest 1st port of call could be sticking some injector cleaner in the tank to see if that helps... ... - .- -.

Cool thanks-should I not be too worried about the engine light. It's still on but the car was going up and beyond 80 last night

Hmm. Id be more tempted to say a fuelling issue with the supply and not the delivery...

When was the fuel filter last changed?

Injectors on diesels tend to fail by leaking and slowly getting worse not failing to open properly but there is always the odd one i guess Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Well I had a service in Nov it was the 70000 5yr service I think it should of been changed then don't have documentation to hand -will driving it now be ok it should not make it worse its a motorway journey so maybe should clean it out - although the previous journey from Edinburgh was mainly motorway that's why I can't understand. Unless it was some cloggy bad diesel I was using vpower as well - went back to normal on this tank
