if you have tried all the obvious remedies then does this happen more so when you accelerate hard to these speeds if so it could be the servotronic valve which regulates the fluid to the steering box ..at 55 mph there is a significant dampening of the box... ... - .- -.

if your problem is the servotronic valve and the only way to find out is a process of elimination ,then its approx £50 from a dealer and very easy to do.. ... - .- -.
