Gaz

Don't think you have.

The wheels on the black 56 plate are bog std 7 spoke, like I had on my TDV8. So either wrong wheels on the car or it's not a S/C, but just S/C Grill and vents

Uhhh not sure what your getting at but the 56 is my "Buckingham Blue" RR, and yes its a 2007 TDV8 Vogue with Supercharged Grille & Vents.

The Bog Standard 7-Spoke as you call them were replaced by me with the 2010 Style8 19" Alloys in the picture above.

But is your Buckingham Blue an Original SC or a Vogue with SC grills and vents, as the bog standard 7 spoke alloys are not SC wheels,

As i think this is where you are getting the SC confuddled .......

As well as me ........

See post above!

I said "The 56 is my "Buckingham Blue" RR, and yes its a 2007 TDV8 Vogue with Supercharged Grille & Vents".

Used the word S/C only in relation to the original wheels which I though were also standard on the older S/C's but I was wrong about that.

My Car is a TDV8 Vogue with the grilles from a S/C.

Yep, those 20" alloys are just standard Vogue SE wheels and not from a SC, the SC wheels were the ones Mick originally had on his car before he became a wheel trader!

I think they are one of the nicest 20" wheels and I also love the original SC ones. The newer SC wheels are the ones Mick now runs and I also like those.

I like the chunky look to the standard 20" wheels

Thats what I meant to say - thanks Very Happy

I really don't like the Standard wheel above which is why I dumped it! I like both the S/C (Old & New) wheels though although I am sticking to mt STYLE8 2010 19" going forward.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I am trying to answer a question from a US owner on another forum and after searching this forum I am still not 100% sure of the answer: What styles of 19" wheels - if any - would fit over the "new" high performance (Brembo) brakes of a 2010/2011+ Supercharged? The newer style only? Any OEM 19" from earlier Range Rover model years? The car comes with 20s of course, but he is interested in downsizing to 19s as his winter setup and can't get a straight answer from his dealer of whether any 19" wheels will fit, either the new style or the old ones. Thanks. Umberto B

Why doesn't your friends Stealer stop acting like a knob and lend him a 19' wheel to see if it clears the brake caliper properly , job done Thumbs Up  2008 MY Supercharged

They claim they did try that and that no 19" rims, whether new style or old, will fit over the 2010+ S/C brakes, the calipers get in the way. He is not convinced... And neither am I. Wink On the 2010+ Range Rover Sport S/C (which also comes with humongous Brembo brakes in front) you can indeed fit the standard 19" wheel from "lesser" non-S/C trims, so is strikes me as odd that you cannot do the same on the FFRR. Umberto B

I have standard 19" 2011my wheels, the 201Y car has the Brembos as standard across the range. My guess would be then that 19" wheels do indeed fit over the brembo brakes. Unless anyone knows better?

Not here in North America, only the Supercharged has front 6-piston Brembos (rebadged with the Range Rover logo, but Brembos nevertheless), less powerful trims have smaller brakes all around. We don't get diesels here in North America though, only NA and SC 5-liter petrol engines. Umberto B

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Tonga Green

Hi umbertob - I know the type of brake calipers you mean - They were on the latest 2011my 4.4 TDV8 I test drove recently - they are huge and very impressive - very nearly twice the size of the brembo calipers I have fitted to my 2007my TDV8.

I don't know for sure, however, I would be very surprised if you could fit 19" wheels onto a Range Rover equiped with these later type brembo (RangeRover branded) calipers.

The wheels on the one I test drove were 20" and noticed the inside edge of the wheel was mm's away from the outside edge of the caliper.

The new 4.4 TDV8 in standard Vogue spec comes with 19" rims. Thumbs Up

I don't doubt you Fox Wink

You would need to check with James / Jez at LookersParkRoyal - maybe the brakes on their demo vehicle where part of an upgrade package??? - afterall, their demo 4.4 TDV8 had every other extra fitted IIRC.

Like I said - I wouldn't know for sure but would be very surprised if you could fit 19" wheels on a RR with these latest style, larger calipers.
