Yes 2 batteries in the l322 is easily possible as I'm sure dan_uk_1984 has done it. They aren't the same size but should provide enough juice to run the park heat and still start and having them both wrapped up in a blanket as will always help, look at vag and merc cars to see why.. You will only got something like an average family hatchback battery In the boot space anyway unless you cut some other bits out bit the bet thing to do if money is no object is replace the front battery with a 110ah Bosch s series from Ecp with a discount code and the same but smaller version for the boot as 2 new ones at the same time will be best. Be aware the one in the boot will my be able to start the l322 as the cabling isn't really rated to it.

Good luck Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

If you're putting a battery in the boot ( or anywhere inside the car) then make sure it is completely sealed as the fumes are toxic.

Whilst many these days claim to be sealed, that really just means maintenance free - I would only use something like an Optima which are sealed enough that they can be mounted any way you like, even upside down !

You can split charge in a number of different ways, but the main thing is to separate the batteries when not charging or they will drain each other. On my Jeep, I run 2 and just have a big relay powered by the ignition live. More sophisticated systems will charge just the starting battery until it is full before engaging the auxiliary.

On the FFRR, I've been happy enough with a single 110Ah Bosch
