GPS Antenna removal ?

Anyone know how to remove antenna from the roof (do I need to remove headlining) - I want to check connections, as I've lost GPS signal Big Cry

Just a thought but you could maybe test the antenna by removing the connection from the GPS unit and plugging it into the aux antenna of an old tomtom or even most mobile phones have an aux antenna port somewhere behind the battery cover.

you can just pull the roof lining away from the tailgate end and reach in you will find a couple of connections attached to the antenna. Stephen Gazard

Think OP is referring to the shark fin antenna - non facelift FF's didn't have those did they?

My 2005 FFRR non facelift has the sharkfin fitted as standard & also the touch screen satnav/tv The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!

now tell me to the mine happens the same thing, but I don't think is an issue of physical wiring connections
you see the GPS symbol crossed by a line red???
My car is RR de 2006 hse TDV8

there is no definitive answer re the red line through the gps icon,
you could reset the nav by doing a battery disconnection [info how to in the wiki]
or it could be a bad cable connection
or the nav module is faulty
or you could be in an area where there is no gps signal [snow on the roof of the range?]
or it could sort it self out in time...
just a few things to work through ... ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan, When I buy the car, its battery was empty and to recharge it I had to reinstall everything, and since then appears the lines
