Finally seen it in flesh including test drive!

Well, have finally seen it in flesh...first I've seen was in "Luxor" with espresso interior. Absolutely love it in that colour! Have seen the black one as well and don't like it at all, think it's OK for the Russians and Chinese, no offence Whistle

Anyway, the first one I've tried was the 3.0 and it's as fast as my 3.6, drives more like a RR. No way it's as fast or faster than the 4.4 L322! The 4.4 is almost a sports car and drives more like a car, thought it was not as soft of a ride like the 3.0, although both had the 21". Back in September I've ordered the 4.4 in black with production date February 13th, so no more changes! Decided not to take it and was quoted August delivery as I liked the "Luxor"....As for now I'm undecided and think that the 3.0 is enough and probably will have a better resale.

Maybe it's best to wait and see, many new ones on autoscout24, still can't imagine people buying them like hot cakes except for Russia and China.

For the rest don't want to bore anyone with looks and interior quality since it has been mentioned a lot here...All in all looks nice in the right colour but not an icon like the L322!

Still would like to see it in silver...

I don't think the 3.0 will have a better resale value, but it will lose less as it's so much cheaper to start with.
When I did the test drive the 3.0 did all I required.
It's not a sports car even with the 4.4, it's just a fast(er) luxury car.

I used to manage fine with a td6. Laughing
Sorry, but to me it's a luxury vehicle.
I don't need to get to 60mph in under 8 seconds in ssomething the size of a house that doesn't corner very well.

If I want to get somewhere quick or get driving thrills I'd get something else...

Maybe. Laughing

But pretty crap at acting as a luxury vehicle for four.

I keep looking at late L322 model Range Rovers with the 4.4 and just thinking they make so much sense for someone buying now.
