Filling up in France?

In August I'm taking abit of a road trip,

My grandad has treated us all and rented a chateau in Baud in the south of France, the whole family is going, about 20 of us.

Anyways my point is, I'm running on LPG, and being a rangie I'm going to need to fill up whilst in France, I'm trying to find some info as I know they have different pump nozzles.

Do I just need to buy an adaptor? And does anyone know which one? Or how much they cost??

Thanking you in advanced Smile

I think you just buy an adapter and your good to go.

There is some stuff about it online IIRC as not all french places use the same one Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Oh.... How very daft?

I take it the adaptor just screws in hand tight?

When I've been filling up with LPG in France, I've never had my own adapter, most filling stations which sell LPG also have the adapters, but better if you can take your own just to be on the safe side! Thumbs Up Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Yep rugby to Dover, then Calais to Baud, 600miles each way Very Happy should be fun.

Im sure I read that they were going to reconsider the Chunnel and LPG?

Simes that would be great, id obviously exchange it for money or return it when I'm back Very Happy

Can anyone post a picture or identify the correct one and how to fit? When I went to France recently, the petrol station had 6 different adaptor parts in s box at the pay counter, but none of them fitted nor did the attendant know anything about them! (Although they did do some great "stanky sheez"!)

I kind of remember them being called a dutch adapter, or is that what we use in the UK? Either way it was a screw in adapter and was a couple of quid and very simple to use... Thumbs Up

I always had the adaptors in the car when travelling to France, just in case the gas station one was missing/damaged etc.

They screw in handtight and are easy to use (bit cold after the fill sometimes). Anyway looks like you are sorted and off you go.

There is another post here on chunnel with LPG that you may want to read before going over in the chunnel train. Not sure about the ferry rules on LPG, better check to be sure. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
