The Valentine's Heart - Science and History Lesson

We were all brought up thinking that the heart that you see for Valentine's day is similar to the Human Heart Organ. That can not be farther from the truth. Heart Organs are oblong and have a bunch of nasty looking arteries and ventricles coming out of them.

The photo shows clearly the true origin of the Valentine heart.
