Stan, please correct me if any of this is wrong.....

Presumably these are 9.5j wheel. Are you running RRS 275/40/R20 tyres on them?

Full Fat standard 255/50R20 = 763mm circumference, RRS 275/40/R20 = 728mm = 4.6% smaller

Have you encountered any issues with rubbing or the smaller diameter?


And to turn it totally the other way, anyone know if a larger diameter (3.4% larger) is likely to cause any issues?

Brian @ GOG has some nice brand new L405 alloys on sale and I need 4 new tyres.... 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

i had 295/45/20 on these rims , no rubbing and this made the speedo more accurate.. ... - .- -.

Love that marsie, same colour and step as mine too so a great indication of what mine will look like. Just need to find a second hand set or a lot more saving!
