NEWBE OWNER QUESTION TIME.

I am still discovering the joys of RR ownership and i have even done a radio pixel repair Thumbs Up one small question about my TD6 2004, I have red lense at the front of the dash cowl/top, down where it meets the windscreen? what does it do? it does not flash like the one on the rear view for the alarm! any ideas.. many thanks.

Sunshine sensor for the air con system. Supposedly helps to regulate the amount of cooling based upon the amount of sun shining in on the car. .
