I had a set of these on my TD6 and liked the look, so decided to get another set for the TDV8 to spruce up the look for a bit.

These ones are cheaper than the ones I bought last time, why pay double or more if they are genuine SS?

Still can't decide on whether I want these or the side steps (not keen to go down the hassle of changing mud flaps tbh)... or how the SS would look on a Black L322.

Would these be able to take the weight of a person standing on them and are they any good from protecting against other cars doors hitting mine? MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"

They will take the weight of someone standing on them - however, not ideal if they are being used as a step up for short people to get into the car as will be slippery when wet and obviously being rounded not that stable a foothold as the side steps.

Don't think they will offer that much protection for your doors ... just always park in the furthest spot from the entrance to the supermarket/mall and you should be ok  African Bush Junkie ... in London!

Not sure I'd get much for my mum, unfortunately she died on 6th Jan- one of the reasons for the overdue but much needed needed clear out, think my dad has a few years work left in him though!!
