Better Quality TPMS Valves

All 5 just replaced by main dealer who says cost was approx £450.

Service Manager told me to be careful when putting tyre inflator on them as the tips are brittle.

His technician interejected and said no, the new style valves are now zinc coated and should not fail like the renowned ones.. and he said there is no reason to be fearful when putting tyre inflators on them/ they are not brittle. Says should have no problems at all with the new ones...

Time will tell Exclamation

new , by definition means they will be stronger .. metal valves do deteriorate after so many years so yours should last a fair while.. ... - .- -.

Agreed.. it's just that with all the stories about them it suggests they've been rubbish from inception but as you say A - they're new; & B - they're now zinc coated so expecting no problems at all/ they will be warrantied for a while too... some cost if an individual is footing the bill though...
