First off, my apologies if this has been done to death.
When I bought my FF, an additional set of 20" wheels were thrown into the deal, 2 with decent tyres, 2 with tyres not fit for use. The 18s I had a new set of Scorpion Zeros fitted on, and have used those up to now.

I was considering selling the 20s, but to be honest looking at prices it seems that they have no real value (AFAIK they are NOT genuine RR wheels). The 2 good tyres are Hankook Ventus 275/45, with about 5mm of tread left on both. The wheels are 20*9J, with a 900kg listed weight limit.
So, my questions are as follow.
1. Is that really a suitable size of tyre for this year of RR. I'm aware that the optional 20s from then were 255/50.
2. Are the existing wheel bolts suitable, or would I need a new set ?

What I'm going to do, if they are suitable, is get a pair of new summer/road biased tyre for the worn-out ones, and just run those for a few months.
If the size is a bit too wide for what should really be run, then I may consider getting 4 255/50R20 tyres, as the 9J wheel should be suitable for those.

Are the wheels branded anyway at all. Some copies can be very good Ronp on Disco3 ran copies on his Discovery 3 for years and swears by them. Btw that tyre size is fine your speedo will be a tiny bit out . Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Technically, that weight limit is unsuitable for the Discovery (940Kg) and FF (925). Only the RRS has 900Kg listed weight limit wheels, so you might possibly have insurance issues. Graham

Agree - they are RRS wheels & if you ever had an accident, your insurer could refuse to pay out if they are a below spec wheel and a non-standard tyre size.

You need to inform your insurance company anyway if you change wheels - you'd probably be OK if you fitted something that was a factory option for that year, but anything else and they need to be told and will most likely increase your premium.

I don't think they look right on a FFRR, but that's just my opinion.

The 9J rim is too wide for the FFRR standard 20" tyre, so I believe you end up fitting 275 something or other, with the aspect ration as close to end up near the standard 255 setup's diameter on the FFRR - if that makes any sense.

I quite like them, but the RRS tyres result in the car sitting a bit lower to the ground and the speedo being a bit out.

But then there is the insurance issue, as already mentioned.

I was going to put some on mine when I bought it, but all the tyre mucking about made me go to 19" instead.

If I ever put 20's on, they will be from a later FFRR, with the correct tyre size on.

Well, I spoke to my insurance company today, and they WOULD be ok if the wheel/tyre combo was an original option, with no additional premium due. As that is the case, and the tyre size is over-wide, I might ask about registering on the RRS forum and get shot of them that way.

Think I'll have to get rid before I can buy a set of Vogue 19s though, else she'll kill me if the garage gets even more cluttered ...

If you want 20"'s, buy some wheels from an L322 Supercharged. They look similar to the RRS ones you have.

Might have some insurance issues though, as 20's were not offered on the Td6 even as an option, until much later in the cars life. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
